Green Tea Leaves

Tea Leaf Green

a mighty fine excursion to the fillmore last weekend to catch up-and-coming jam band, tea leaf green.

we rallied a solid cadre of hall pass carrying hipsters and made a go at the title. must say, we're pretty fortunate to have such a strong local crew that is still up for barking at the moon every now and then.

Tea Leaf Green

here are a couple video clips for the action:

late night took us back to the baker street doghouse and some extended rounds of pool bocce while spinnng some vinyl. no doubt, some elaborate plans were cooked up for a little siberian watering hole later this summer. hope someone kept hold of the minutes...

4 & 20 Blackbirds BAKED In A Pie

yo kids, make sure to get your twist on today...

take a little time this Apirl 20th and jam along with the Toyes [AUDIO]:

I smoke two joints in the morning, I smoke two joints at night
I smoke two joints in the afternoon, it makes me feel alright
I smoke two joints in time of peace, and two in time of war
I smoke two joints before I smoke two joints, and then I smoke two more

Oh, my daddy he once told me, "Son, you be hard working man"
My mama she once told me, "Son, you do the best you can"
But then one day I met a man who came to me and said
"Hard work good and hard work fine, but first take care of head"

5-Star 4T

Five Star

sizziling soiree thrown by agent 5* and the marvelous santa monica to prove that entree into the 4th decade doesn't mean you have to hang up your boogey shoes.

Five Star

the dynamic duo secured the Red Devil Lounge, booked the Unauthorized Rolling Stones, dialed up an open bar, and let the good times roll.

and roll we did, pretty much across the board.

Five Star

always fun to get a bunch of instigators together under one roof and release the hounds. gonna need a transcript to recount half the exchanges, but that's a transcript worth obtaining because the haikus...

    they were out like a
scout on a new route without
    a doubt cause to shout

Five Star

and before you knew it,

the night was a blur...

Five Star

the charger was in charge...

Five Star

the groove was smooth...

Five Star

the band was peaking...

Five Star

acorn was howling at the moon...

Five Star

and then someone tapped you on the shoulder and said,

you don't have to go home but you can't stay here...
